GMC has shared a teaser pic of a camper truck with the GMC Hummer EV at its base. The vehicle will celebrate its official debut in summer, but the image gives an approximate idea of what to expect.

Compared to the stock Hummer EV shown in the video and the rest of the gallery, the RV has a solar panel array on the roof to be able to top up its batteries in remote places on sunny days.

The canopy has a box for miscellaneous items mounted at the driver’s side. The canopy itself appears to be covering an extended passenger area where pickup-based motorhomes usually have their beds.

The project is being implemented by GMC and Australia-based EarthCruiser Overland Vehicles, which specializes in building vehicles for long autonomous trips. It has also maintained a branch office in the USA for ten years now.
