Italian students conceptualize the Mitsubishi car of 2035

A team of students from an Italian design institute have unveiled the one-off Mitsubishi Moonstone, a concept car meant to visualize what the automaker’s vehicles may look like in the year 2035. Mitsubishi assisted in the making of the car, but will not be mass-producing it, although some of its features might later trickle down to production cars.
The car is styled as a sporty-looking three-door crossover with an aggressive exterior and quite a bit of ground clearance. It sports an agile silhouette, multi-tier headlights and an integrated rear spoiler. Highlighting the “battle-ready” aesthetic are black bumper, sill and wheel arch accents.
The parameters stay undisclosed, with the team calling their creation ‘a high-end performance car’ and leaving it at that.
Aside from Mitsubishi, OZ Racing and Pirelli supported the creation of the life-size mockup.
