Toyota hides Tecoma truck premiere date in a cleverly made teaser pic

The U.S. office of Toyota has posted a seemingly random picture of its Tacoma pickup that proves to be full of Easter eggs upon closer inspection.
You may remember that the first images of the new truck leaked online from the patent database of the Brazilian Patent Office. The building in the background of the photo is precisely that: the Brazilian Patent Office.
Furthermore, the license plate of the truck says 04042023, an obvious reference to the reveal date: April 4, 2023. That’s Tuesday next week. Finally, while we cannot confirm it, there is a very blurred image of a white pickup truck in the lower right corner of the photo, its front fascia looking very similar to that on the leaked pics.
It is assumed that the new Toyota Tacoma will run on Tundra underpinnings and largely four-cylinder engines (although the truck in the image has a V6). One of the engines will serve as the basis for a hybrid drivetrain. For example, the Lexus RX 500h uses a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-pot along with two electric motors for a combined 371 PS (366 hp / 273 kW).
