Mercedes-Benz has shared the first photo of its upcoming GLE and GLE Coupe facelift, letting us draw some conclusions about the related SUV duo. The full reveal is coming up on Tuesday, January 31.

Mercedes-Benz has shared the first photo of its upcoming GLE and GLE Coupe facelift, letting us draw some conclusions about the related SUV duo. The full reveal is coming up on Tuesday, January 31.

The image shows the GLE front and the GLE Coupe rear, revealing new headlights, taillights and radiator grille. Referencing spy shots made earlier, Carscoops adds that the bumpers are reshaped and the steering wheel looks new. An infotainment system update is likely, too.

From the engine standpoint, though, surprises can hardly be expected. In all likelihood, both GLEs will ship with hybridized gas and diesel engines to choose from rated in the range of 258–612 PS (254–604 hp; 190–450 kW).
