Chinese automaker Arcfox has premiered a concept named Kaola, which targets young mothers and pregnant women. The vehicle comes loaded with a slew of features like a comfortable child seat and a number of electronic nannies literally performing their titular role.

Included in the media complex is a camera mounted on the driver seat headrest and facing the child seat. Should the electronics find that the baby is uncomfortable, it will automatically adjust the ambient lighting and microclimate. If the baby is crying, it will turn on some calming music and switch the lighting into Relaxation Mode. In addition to all of the above, mothers will be able to see their child on the central display at all times. A special screen built into a door panel will display notifications about any climate control adjustments being made.

As soon as the car owner approaches the car, the door on the child seat side will automatically open and the seat will swivel around to face outside. The seat child itself can be unfolded into a position for sleeping, just like the adult’s seat next to it. A special compartment for baby food can be found at the front end of the center tunnel. If needed, you can adjust the temperature inside the compartment using your smartphone. There is even a folding table in the back for swaddling, as well as a particularly large safety airbag on the child’s side of the back row (+12 percent from standard size).

As innovative as all of the above sounds, it is not even remotely the full feature list. For instance, the cabin trim makes use of virus-repelling materials, and the air conditioner benefits from a particularly fine filter. UV lamps installed all around enable mothers to disinfect the car when needed, eliminating any bacteria inside.

The technical parameters and launch date remain unknown.
