Toyota GR 86 gets a complete visual makeover courtesy of ADRO
U.S.-based tuning firm Aerodynamic Development Race Optimization (ADRO) has announced a range of styling components coming for the Toyota GR 86.
Put together, they drastically re-envision the design of the Japanese sports car. The nose looks sportier and lower, the air intakes in the front bumper become larger, and the front splitter is just millimeters away from scratching the asphalt. The arches are 2.5 times wider than stock, and there is a tall carbon wing at the back, accompanied by a bulkier rear diffuser. The company warns that the wheels and the suspension lowering kit seen in the demo video and the photos aren’t included.
Designed in California and manufactured in South Korea, the kit adds 90 kilos (200 pounds) of downforce to the car while simultaneously increasing its weight by a cool 113 kilos (250 pounds). After its official presentation at the SEMA show next month, you will be able to buy it for just $4,750.
