Novitec transforms the Maserati MC20 into a 711-PS supercar

Novitec has a history of tuning luxury vehicles to perfection, but it has been a while since it paid attention to the Italian car marque with the trident logo. Everything changed with the introduction of the Maserati MC20, a perfectly capable sports car with 630 metric horsepower in its command.
It was the first time the company’s Tridente subdivision tackled the all-new 3.0-liter V6 engine, so extreme power gains were probably not the point. It still succeeded in raising the output to 711 PS (701 hp / 523 kW) and the torque from its usual 730 Nm to 818 Nm (from 538 to 603 lb-ft, respectively).
As a result, the MC20 was able to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds, shaving off one tenth of a second from the standard sprint time, and ultimately reached 325 km/h (202 mph).
Those interested in the upgrade may also order an understated carbon-fiber body kit that avoids clashing with the original design of the car, a 25mm (1-inch) suspension lowering kit, and any of a large number of interior upgrades. Rounding off the list are exhaust tips available in several finishes including forged carbon.
Tridente did not reveal any pricing details.
