Polestar 5 isn’t holding back with 886 PS driving the wheels

Polestar has unveiled its upcoming all-electric liftback flagship at the Goodwood Festival, saying its dual electric motors produced 884 PS (874 hp / 652 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque working together. The EV – which rivals some gas-powered hypercars of today – should go on sale in a few years.
According to the manufacturer, the prototype vehicle has an innovative, state-of-the-art motor on the rear axle and uses an 800V architecture like the Porsche Taycan. It also rides on a unique chassis made largely of aluminum, which Polestar claims plays a key role in ensuring truly unrivaled performance and handling.
The remaining parameters have not been discussed. The car itself arrived to the show in a full-body wrap, but you may have already seen it partially naked in official teasers.
