A 23-year-old Ferrari 333 SP with the chassis number 32 is looking for a new owner in Italy. Designing the racer back in early 1990s enabled the automaker to make a comeback into prototype racing, but only 40 such vehicles was made in total.

Ferrari dropped out of prototype races in 1972 and stayed out of them until the 333 SP debuted in 1993. Gianpiero Moretti, the famous founder and owner of Momo racing parts shop, entrepreneur and car sports fan, is considered to be the person who inspired Ferrari to build the car.

The model emerged in a collaboration with racecar chassis maker Dallara. It features a carbon-fiber monocoque body with dual-wishbone suspension. Dallara used to assemble the 333 SP model and made 14 units in total. A company by the name of Michelotto put together the rest.

Every 333 SP uses the same Ferrari V12 engine as other racecars of the era. The unit has four liters of displacement and churns out 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) at 11,000 RPM.

The Ferrari 333 SP has scored dozens of victories and prizes in its own class back in the day, but the listing fails to mention how many awards – if any – this example won. Originally bought by a customer from Japan, it later migrated to Australia and Canada before returning to Italy. The seller is its fourth owner, and all pricing is private.
