The one-of-a-kind Ferrari Omologata gets caught on camera in Munich
Ferrari only allowed us a brief glimpse of its unique Omologata supercar when it debuted a month ago, but this weekend, the exotic coupe unexpectedly popped up on a street in Munich, Germany.
The car is the tenth work carried by the Ferrari Special Project team. It is essentially a front-wheel-drive, V12-packing 812 Superfast model endowed with unique styling and equipment. Only the headlights and the windshield stay stock, while the rest of the body has been designed from the ground up with nods to many popular Ferraris of the past, including the 250 GTO and the 250 LM.
The interior greets the viewer with carbon fiber, artificially aged “crackled” paint, forged metal details, sports seats wrapped in Aunde jeans fabric and blue leather, and four-point safety belts.
Nothing has been revealed about the powertrain. The logical assumption would be that it stems from the Ferrari 812 Superfast without modifications. This implies a 6.5-liter V12 rated at 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) paired with an F1 DCT box of seven gears and AWD+4WS.
